Since leaving high school I worked for 4 years at German American Bank in the trust department taking care of trust accounts. I then moved on to Kimball International where I was a quality auditor in Corporate Information Systems. I worked there until 2001 when I came home to help my husband Tony with his businesses. We own a large turkey & chicken farm and Tony is the web content manager for John Mellencamp. He is basically the liaison between John's business manager and the fans. I helped with this until 2002 when our first son Trevor was born. My time was then spent more as being a Mom than anything. But that is okay. It is a hard job, but a great one. In 2005 along came our daughter, Kendall. (She was born on my Dad's birthday. Nothing like giving your Dad a granddaughter for his birthday!) So now I spend my days driving back and forth from preschool, paying bills for our turkey & chicken farm and breaking up fights between brother and sister.

If there is one thing I have learned over the past 5 years is how important your family is to you. Don't take anything or any day for granted. You never know what could happen.

I enjoy hearing everyone's stories and seeing pictures of your children. Hope to see all of you in November.
