After several jobs, I started preaching in 1976, and have been at it ever since. My first wife passed away after 33 years of marriage, and we had no children. I met and married Aleta Stevens Walker in 2004, and "inherited" two kids, both of whom are married. Jacob is a landscape architect in Austin, and our daughter Katie's husband preaches in Missouri at the present.
