Michelle was a sweetheart. I remember her always in an upbeat mood. I really liked her. I wish I could have spent more time with her. I didn't have any close friends in high school. I was too sheltered. But she was one of the nicest people I knew. I still think of her even after all these years. I still remember her voice, her laugh, her smile and every experience I had around her. I'm glad to have known her. I really miss her. -- Shawn Buchholz

I pray Michelle rests in peace. I remember her always smiling too. She was very nice. We had many conversations. I remember getting the phone call about her passing and I just prayed for her entire family. She was special and deserved to be living a long healthy life. She is dearly missed in life and as part of our class of 1989.

So what happened? Sorry to just come out & ask, but I really didn't hear about her until looking at the sight. Definitely too young to go, really reminds us all to enjoy every minute you have with family, friends; it can be gone in an instant.

After shooting her in the back of the head, he committed suicide. She was in bed wearing her pajamas and

he was in his clothes and winter coat. The victim’s sister and brother-in-law found the bodies later in the

day. She is survived by a 14-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter who were not at home at the time of

the murder/suicide.
