Ruben Anthony Chicoine, 31, of Jefferson died Saturday, July 29, 2006, in rural Jefferson Ruben was born Aug. 2, 1974, in Sioux City, the son of Gary and Sandy (Heaton) Chicoine. He attended St. Peter's Catholic Grade School and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1993. He married Jessica Wagner on Feb. 7, 1998. The couple lived in Jefferson. He farmed near Jefferson and owned and operated Chicoine's Mobile Service. He also was the area county manager for Archer Petroleum. He previously was part owner of the Chicoine Hay Company and operated the maintenance for Jefferson Township. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Ikes Club and served as an officer of the Jefferson Alumni Association.
