I found that I had written in my yearbook that Joe passed away in April 1975. It is my recollection that he was a welder and that he was welding something in one of the carnival trailers on site at the Home Show and there was an explosion. It seems like Joe might have been the first classmate we lost.

Yes, I recall reading about Joe's accident in the newspaper. I think Jeff Short may have died before him; not sure.
