Janis unfortunately passed in December 1980 at 26. She had married and her name was Janis Grant. She was a wonderful person and a long time childhood friend. I have many happy memories of her laughing - she had a wonderful laugh.
I lost touch with her in about 1975 but my Mother kept me up to date after I moved from Missouri, so I have no details on her death. Her sister Sandy may still be in the Joplin area but again, I am not sure.
