After getting my Bachelor in Elem. Ed., I put it to good use working at a casino in Mesqiute, NV where I met my husband Kevin. We have been married 9 yrs. and have just one son- Ian. He is a great kid and keeps me busy with all of his afterschool activites- piano, choir, musical theater, and karate (he's in his 6th year and should get his black belt by fall!). My husband works at the Blue Bunny ice cream plant- no, he can't bring it home- and I work at Ian's school- George Washington Academy- as the computer lab manager. It is a charter school, K-8, and I see all 500 kids by the end of each week!
We like to take rides, visit my brother Wil and his family in Mesquite, and, of course, I read as much as possible. We are always planning trips to my husband's reservation in Washington State- he is a Yakama indian- but the economy or something always comes up.
