Gerry Kretschmar (1961)

Richard Herschel Gladding of Rochester, Michigan, passed away suddenly on November 20, 1993 from a heart attack.   He was a 30 year General Motors employee who began his career with the Fisher Body Division in Warren.   At the time of his death he was Manager of Manufacturing Planning at North American Truck Platforms in Pontiac.

Dick was born May 25, 1940 in Evansville, Indiana.   He attended Purdue Univ. and graduated from Western Michigan Univ. where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a past Master of Rochester Masonic Lodge and a member of the Elks Club of Rochester.   Dick enjoyed sailing, golfing, gardening and playing his guitar.

He is survived by his Wife, Mary K, Sons Richard II, and Brett, and Daughter Leigh.
