Aaron Wright

1939-2022

Aaron Glen Miles Wright (82) passed away on March 11, 2022, surrounded by family that loved him dearly. They say the best things in life come in small packages, and nothing could be truer about this beloved man. He packed a whole lot of heart, charisma, intelligence, business sense, charm, humor, and kindness in his 5’ 6 “ frame.

Every aspect of his life was full and rich. His career path was expansive, varied, and fulfilling. He enjoyed golf, boating and reading. He maintained friendships for decades upon decades and was blessed to call both Michigan and Florida home.

Aaron was born and raised in Waterford, and being the loyal soul that he was, never fully left. He graduated from Waterford Township High School and attended Western Michigan University and Michigan State University. Aaron began his career as a salesman for the Yellow Pages. He went on to own a real estate company for many years. Eventually, life led him back to his career roots, where he was head of the Industrial Yellow Pages with ATT before he retired at age 55.

Aaron loved his life together with his wife, Mary. Together they enjoyed living on the water and spent their time enjoying their home on Elizabeth Lake. Winters were spent at their condo in Lauderdale by the Sea where Aaron served as condominium president for over 25 years.

Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather. Son, brother, friend, boss, employee, Mr. Wright, Mr. Always Wright. Mr. President are just a handful of the titles he held throughout his life. His family grieves him whole-heartedly, with love in their hearts and endless nuggets of wisdom he left with them.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Mary Copp Wright, his children, Lori Bos (the late Mark), Leigh Wright (Jason). His grandchildren Chelsea Woodward (Josh) and Jacob Bos (Ashley). Great-grandchildren Jackson and Holland Woodward.
Aaron is preceded in death by his parents Ione and Graydon Wright and sister Lynette and son-in-law Mark.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford.
