RIP Zabs.  You were my twin brother, born on the same day and year.  We attended the same highschool and WMU together.  I still have gold crowns you installed in my teeth 60+ years ago.  We spoke on the phone just a few months ago when you told me that you wrapped your magnificant British Racing Green Jag  around a telephone pole.  My condolences to your loved ones, dear brother.

James Tammi (1961)

Many years ago the Detroit SAE group would sponsor a Golf Outing in the Detroit area.    One year I played with JIM and I don't know if it was due to our last  names in the alphabet or our equally high handicaps.  In any event some of the holes were quite a poke to even get to the fairway.  After depleting several of our water balls Jim came up with the bright idea of starting on the fairway after the trouble.  Wish I had thought of that...

After the round we went to his house and he showed me his latest wood working project,  think it was a boat and met his wife.  We spoke of going up the road to play the Dodge Muni but never got around to it.

It was a fun day and thanks for the memories JIM.

Hit them straight and RIP!

JIM TAMMI
