After graduation I decided that it would be best to study fine art, and after almost 4 years of college, I realized artists are generally homeless and penniless. So, I moved around the Midwest and somehow became a Refrigerator Repairman for SEARS, not my ambition, really, however, I still do my art, photography, writing, acting, etc, just on the side and I enjoy it, except with the added bonus of being able to eat and have shelter.
I think my favorite memories from Turner, revolve around acting in the drama classes for Ms. Gerleman, those were fun times, and the forensics competitive acting with Ms. Bond and Mr. Giacalone were fantastic as well...those were silly, silly, times. I'm sure I must've been horrible to to act with on stage, I had a tendency to be a very inconsiderate and rude, even going so far as to ridicule fellow classmates.
However, looking back, a person realizes how they behaved and treated others, and as they mature with objectivity and perspective, they see it was brought on by the difficulties of being a teenager. And, in my case, the stage was one of my outlets to release my angst and depression and all the personal issues that were kept locked inside like a pressure cooker. Hopefully, I left no permanent scars, mental or otherwise, and if I did, I apologize.
I also enjoyed writing for the school newspaper, the Booster -- I think I still have all of them. And I'd like to point out to anyone who took my horoscopes seriously, I made them all up, but if they did help you and you had success, then I nod in satisfaction for being the catalyst you needed to achieve your goal. True satisfaction comes from the helping of others.
