There has been some discussion regarding the website maintenance.  Because there already is a general Southwest High School website in existence, www.swhighschool.org  it might make more sense to have our reunion website up for only a year . . and then migrate everyone over to www.swhighschool.org and have the class of 70 make a donation to it rather than continue paying for our own website -- particularly since most of us already avail ourselves of email, facebook, twitter, etc.

Appreciate your feedback.  When the committee investigated Web site options, we looked at the site your mentioned and tried to work with the owner/designer.  We found that classcreator was much more responsive to our needs and since time was essential, after trying to work things out with the other SW group for over a month, we went with classcreator.  Our site was up within  2 hours and running with a lot more options than we found with others. 

There are always trade offs when looking to do work with family/classmates or working with vendors you have no relationship with.  Everyone who wants to join the Web site committee can "weigh in" on the pros and cons of this issue.  With the homework I have done, I believe that staying with classcreator is in our best interests.

I also would like to ask from whom you have heard these comments since I have heard nothing like this even though I have asked repeatedly for people to join this committee and help in this regard.  So far . . . nothing.

Being in California, i don't feel that I can contribute much more than money to the planning of our 40th Reunion.

I am more than willing to help fund the present website as I find it most informative- and as Beth said "quite simple" to navigate.
