With 59 mass shootings in the United States so far in 2024, I'm happy to know that my first friend from kindergarten is alive and well to see his 72nd birthday. May there be many more happy birthdays for you and no more mass shootings.

I'm so sorry to hear that Paul is gone.  Some people accomplish great things and I am not surprised that Paul is one of those people.  Super smart, wonderfully kind, a good friend to those who had the good fortune to get to know him.
