Karen Sue Oakerson

Loving and caring mother, grandma and friend.

Daughter of Arnold & Helen Edgington.

Karen was preceded in death in 2011 by her brother Robert. Karen was survived by her brother and sister in law James & Mary Edgington. Sister in law Lila Edgington. Son and daughter in law Scott & Jennifer Oakerson. Three grandchildren Kaylee, Natalee & Austin.

Karen worked in the medical field as a transcriptionist almost her entire life. She enjoyed traveling, going to movie theaters but most importantly spoiling her grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 7th at Pleasant View Cemetery, 6025 Quivira Rd., Shawnee, KS 66216 from 3 to 5pm.
