Sidney was a friend of mine at Bingham. She was a very nice person and I am happy she was able to become a doctor. I am sorry she wasn't able to live longer, but I hope she didn't suffer since she seemed to have died so unexpectedly.
Sidney was a psychologist/psychoanalyst in the Greater Kansas City and Topeka Psychoanalytic Institute. She had a private practice and was active in the Institute. She was highly regarded and well-respected in the professional community, and she was greatly mourned. I think she had heart surgery because she had been experiencing fatigue. The surgery seemed to have gone well, so her sudden death was a shock. She had been a colleague of mine
My locker was next to hers in Bingham's gym. I remember her being friendly and kind; but my most vivid memory is of her marvelous hair. She had the PERFECT flip--better than Mary Tyler Moore's a decade later. RIP, my friend.
