Rick W. Browne, 61 of Belton, MO passed away on February 16, 2008. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:00pm on Wednesday February 20, with funeral services at 3:00pm on Thursday February 21 at the Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be in the Mount Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association or Wayside Waifs. Rick was born September 28, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1965. While attending the University of Arkansas, he decided to serve his country. Rick then joined the United States Marine Corps where he served in Viet Nam. He spent his career as a truck driver. His memberships include the VFW Post 8220 and the Commander's Club. He was preceded in death by his father Donald W. Browne and Uncle James Cope. Survivors include his 2 sons Jason & Justin Browne and their mother Judy; his mother Marlene Browne; sister Jan Browne-Fuller and best friend Amber. To our family and friends, we would like to thank you for your love and support. He will be greatly missed by all. Rick's gone fishin'.
