Bruce was born to Hunter P. Davis and Pearl H. Davis in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Southwest High School, Kansas City, Missouri and earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Tulsa. During his undergraduate years at TU, Bruce was fondly referred to as a "Big Man on Campus". As a member of the Golden Hurricane Basketball Team he lettered three years (1967-69), was an Academic All American, and by his senior year was named an Outstanding College Athlete of America. As a finance major he was equally superior, receiving inductions in 1968 into the business honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma; scholarship honor society Phi Gamma Kappa; and leadership honor society Omicron Delta Kappa. His senior year he was named to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Most important, during this time he met his wife, Shirval Hill. Married in 1967, Bruce and Shirval enjoyed thirty-nine years of marriage, until her death in December of 2006. After graduation from TU, Bruce began a career in banking, representing the third generation of his family to serve at Park National Bank in Kansas City, Missouri, an institution founded by his grandfather. After Hunter's death, Bruce continued to grow the bank, merging his father's banks in Parkville and Riverside, into Park Bank. He also went on to establish Park Investments and Park Foundation, serving as President and Chairman of the Board. Bruce was an avid outdoorsman and loved farming, hunting and his dogs. An Eagle Scout, he was named Chieftain of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say in 2004, and also served as a member of the Ranch Committee at Philmont Scout Ranch. In 2007 he married Terri Smith (Davis), Independence, Missouri. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirval, Parents and Older Brother, John Davis. He is survived by his wife, Terri A. Davis and two step-sons, Alex Smith and Cooper Smith; Son Neil E. Davis; Daughter Traci A. Lauritsen and her husband Joseph Lauritsen and two grandchildren Marliss Lauritsen and Van Lauritsen; son Brett A. Davis and his wife Melisa Davis and three grandsons Blake E. Davis, Bradley A. Davis and Bryce P. Davis; and his brother James H. Davis. Bruce was "larger than life", enjoyed

many friends, was exceptional at everything he did in life, and had many other accomplishments. He generously gave his love to his family and friends and helped many people. He was tremendous, loved and will be greatly missed. M
