The short version. After High School I was a nanny in NY for a year, started school at SUNY Farmingdale. Moved back to UT went to the U of U for 2 years, married my hubby Tod, who is in the Air Force. Moved to California, transferred to Yuba College, then Chico State. Moved to Sembach, Germany - transferred to U of Maryland. Moved to Belgium - went to U of Mons de Hainaut.
1998 moved to Georgia gave up on school worked as a Systems Security Administrator for Geico, had a baby, Hannah, became a stay at home Mom (took some getting used to, now I love it).
In 2003 we moved to Ocean Springs Mississippi, had another baby, Wyatt. He was born with some orthopedic issues, bilateral club feet and hip dysplasia. I then became his Health Care Coordinator, and daily Physical Therapist. We surivived Hurricane Katrina (the kids and I evacuated, hubby had to stay on base in Biloxi). The kids and I actually moved back to Kaysville for 3 months after Katrina looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon, Wyatt was scheduled to have his hip surgery a week after the Hurricane in New Orleans, where all of his specialists were. We ended up going back home to Mississippi after 3 months and Wyatt had his surgery in New Orleans, The Children's Hospital there rocks! It was like a Ghost Town in New Orleans but business as usual inside the Hospital.
Last year we moved back to Georgia, and will most likely stay here (only base that will accept Wyatt's medical case).
Just visited Utah June 8 -25th for a scheduled family thing. Regretfully, I will not be able to see everyone at the Reunion. My hubby gets home from his deployment that week and I don't want to miss it. Life is pretty good!
