Ina Lee Hamblin

Ina Lee Hamblin, 79 passed away Saturday morning, August 24, 2024, peacefully at her home.

 She was born August 23, 1945, in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Charles Raymond and Alice Ball Hamblin. She was raised in Kaysville, Utah and graduated from Davis High School.

 She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings throughout her life. Ina served a LDS mission in Germany, serving in the West German Mission from 1969 to 1971.

 She was employed by Lakeview Hospital as a cook, retiring in 2010.

 Ina loved her flower gardens and enjoyed baking for her family, especially at Christmas time. She was a very loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews and planned many sleepovers, breakfasts and craft days with them. She enjoyed painting, puzzles and embroidering. She made many tablecloths, dishtowels and hot pads for her many nieces.

 She was a loving daughter to her parents and provided selfless service to them in their advancing years.

 Ina is survived by sisters-in law, Maxine and Kris Hamblin of Kaysville and sister Larene High of Layton, brothers Duane (Charlene), Leroy, Merlin (Carla) of Kaysville, Marlin (ReNee) of South Weber and Carl (Kerri ) of Wales, Utah and many nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Raymond and Alice Augusta Ball, brothers, Raymond Jay and Joseph Reed and sister-in law Jean Hamblin and brother-in law James High.

 Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kaysville Rock Chapel, 200 E. Center Street. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
