GUY BEAUDOIN 1953 ~ 2011
The one of a kind, irrepressible Guy Beaudoin, left us suddenly on August 11, 2011, after a courageous bout with a difficult illness. He was born December 19, 1953 to Ike and Vergie Beaudoin in Ogden, UT.
He was the proud and beloved father of Dax Beaudoin and grandfather of Jaxden Beaudoin who survive him in death. In addition he leaves a sister, Renee Cornelisen and The Cousins, (a group to whom he was leader as the Most Loved Uncle) consisting of Mitzi Phelps Lloyd (Doug), Kristi Philps Dinneen (George), Mitch Runsvold and Lane Cornelisen, and later great uncle to Kristi's children, Levi and Kalen and Mitch's children, Jennifer and Colton. As well as great-great uncle to Jennifer's children; Roy, Clasie and Annaleah. He also leaves a long list of friends, Debbie Layton Beaudoin of Normington, CT, his son's mother, as well as Jim Flores, Ron Witherspoon, and Debbie Bossard who were long time friends (all of whom survive him in death.), Flenn Watson, Neil Davis and Larrty Cornelisen, (all of whom preceded him in death).
He spent most of his life on the Wasatch Front, except for a few years when he lived in Kansas City, near another sister, Yvonne Davis, who preceded him in death.
Guy attended Davis High School and graduated in the class of 1971. He collected and remodled antique cars. He liked to travel and was a glass and neon artist who created amazing art pieces and neon signs (many can be seen around in SLC businesses). He enjoyed landscaping and building yard art and displays, including water fountains and fire places made from collected stone. He was deeply loved by all who knew him and he will be terribly missed. "Dad Loves his boy." "I love my Dad." A gathering will be held to remember him, celebrate his life and the many wonderful memories he leaves us with. Inquire as to time and date to justdax@hotmail.com.
