Thomas Spencer Frost 1954 ~ 2013 Kaysville. UT

Thomas Spencer Frost died unexpectedly, Monday, November 4, 2013. He was born to loving parents, Ruth Snow and Thomas Leland Frost, on June 13, 1954. He grew up in Kaysville, surrounded by a nurturing community and a family drug store. Tom attended Davis High School and enriched his academics with participation in music. His education continued as he graduated from the University of Utah in 1988 with a degree in Economics. While at the University of Utah he was an active member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, and enjoyed lasting friendships from that association.

Tom was employed as a talented sales and management executive for Associated Title Company beginning in 1980, and continued in that capacity after the merger with First American Title Company of Utah in 2002. Tom created and maintained many enduring friendships with clients and fellow employees throughout his professional career.

Despite health challenges, Tom remained hopeful and cheerful. He is a role model of courage and optimism for his family and friends. Instead of complaining, Tom saw blessings. His interests were embraced with enthusiasm. They ranged from horses, sports, snowmobiles, boating, and cars. He was noted for his knowledge and passion for vintage cars, which he collected. All who enjoyed these pursuits with him will miss his willingness to share and cheerfully extend help when needed.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings. Tom served a mission in the Toronto Canada Mission. The principles of the Gospel, his children and family were treasured by Tom. It seems fitting that he and his wife, Kaye, recently enjoyed a historical and spiritual trip to Israel.

Tom is survived by his wife, Kaye and her daughter Nicole; and his children Allison (Patrick Sellers), Ryan and Anna; stepchildren Scott Schumann (Tiffany), Derek Schumann (Ashley), Cassandra Larkin (Dan) and Braedon Schumann (Jacqueline) and five grandchildren, also his father and mother-in-law W. Dean and Marilyn Howard. His surviving siblings are Frances Frost (Lynn Bennson), James Leland Frost, Barbara F. Soulier (Michael), and Lisa F. Wirthlin (Bill). He has several nieces and nephews who will miss their Uncle Tom.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Canyon Woods Ward Chapel, 50 E. 1085 N. (Mutton Hollow Road). Friends may visit family Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
