Kim Walter Wright

Kaysville

1953  -  2009

Kim Walter Wright, 55, of Kaysville, returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father after suffering complications from a long illness on Tuesday, September 22, 2009.

Kim was born October 22, 1953 to George Walter and Dorothy Jean Andrews Wright. He was a long time resident of Kaysville.

He is survived by Atsuyo, his loving wife of 31 years, his son, Andrew and his wife Maya, and mother who have lovingly cared for him throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father.

He served a mission for the LDS Church in the Japan/Fukuoka Mission and continued to serve his Heavenly Father up until his death. He married the love of his life on April 22, 1978 in the Salt Lake City Temple. He worked at O.C. Tanner in Salt Lake City for 23 years.

He had a great love of the outdoors. Kims love of fossils and BYU football was only surpassed by the love for his family.

He is also survived by Jeannie (Bill) Simmons of Layton; Laurie (Val) Noble of Pleasant Grove and Andrea (Brian) King of West Point.

Many thanks to the 911 responders and countless caregivers who have lent their services to Kim.

Kim was a big fan of BYU football and even after he was robbed of his sight by the diabetes he still attended the home games.  Never heard him complain over the years as the disease slowley took from him his ability to enjoy the outdoors.  He made the most out of life despite what he had to contend with.  Kim was a good guy, a loyal friend and an honorable man.
