This is for all the "hens" and a standing joke for Judi's benefit. I know she's looking down and smiling.
"I was a virgin when I got married".

Judi bacame my best friend post 30th class reunion. We called often and then emailed every day. Judi loved to laugh and refused to take much in life seriously. Even in high school lshe was a clown and she stayed that way all her life. Her grandkids loved her because of her humor with them. She never talked down to them.

I flew to Dallas several times before and after she bacame ill. She was a trooper thruout. I miss her terribly.but have all the wonderful memories of our times together.

Judy was perhaps the most poplular of our class.  In addition.......SHE HAD THE CAR!!!!    A red and white Ford of some make and year.

Cannot remember finite details.  But somehow Judy would have "the car", and some of us would get into it, and some of us would pitch in 25 cents for some gas, and we would go cruising around down Central......or driving by specific houses of the boys we were currently "dating".

None of us had "a car" in those days.  But Judy did, and in addition she was great fun to be with.

Years after our years in high school, she and I met in South Lake Tahoe, Nevada.  Judy had been ill for some time.  Linda Thurston had gone with her to South Lake Tahoe.  By that time I had moved to southern Oregon, and so I drove there to meet Judy and Linda.  We had a good 24 hours together......a boat trip, dinner and then goodbye.......as it turned out.....the final one for Judy.

Those were just some of the memories.  She was a pivotal part, I think, of our class.
