Archie, I can't remember when Dick Mahood past away, but it has probably been 10 years or so. He died of cancer. The last I knew, he and his wife owned a dinner theater in Grand Island. The last time I saw Dick was here in Omaha. It was after a play, in which he had the lead part. He did an excellent job and we waited afterward to speak with him. He had a growth removed from his shoulder that day and still did the play that night. I guess as the saying goes "the show must go on. I think he died about a year later. Maybe someone from Kearney would know more. Thanks, Jim Schmidt
