Terry Beerman

Obtained BS in polymer chemistry at NYS Environmental Science School and PhD in Biochemistry at Syracuse University and moved to Boston for postdoctoral training and then a Research Associate in pharmacology and molecular biology at Harvard Med School. Met my future wife Nina who was living in inner city commune in Boston and taught English at an inner city school.
Married in Boston MA in 1976 and moved back to Buffalo in May of 1977. I have been heading a research lab ever since in the department of experimental therapeutics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Returning to Buffalo has been a wonderful move. I have enjoyed the city, many new friends and the chance to be close to my family and relatives who had remained in the area. My wife Nina Ruth Wright had a wonderful career teaching english at Amherst Central High School.

Not much to say. Still remember some of my friends but have not been in touch with many. Same with teachers. Lots of memories and recognition of my reluctance to be a good student.
