Spent some time in the US Army, on a guided tour of SE Asia, but fortunately as what some call a swivel chair soldier in special little unit, at HQs in Long Binh, Saigon, and then some fun time living in Bangkok. Then went back to UB, where I got a BA in mathematics, despite Mrs. Dinwoodie's efforts, and then went on to UB Law School. I determined to do poverty law, and have been an attorney working for the poor ever since in a legal services office, in Elmira, NY.

The image of Ed and Arnold was obtained by following Robert Podd's Google clue to a blog. The blog states that the image is courtesy of Ed Summer; so he, or his estate, more than likely owns the copyright. I saved the image from the web page and cleaned up the color just a smidge. I did not know Ed as well as some of you. I was in his home when we were younger, prior to high school. And, we were on the stage crew together at Ken West and, I think, in junior high.

There is an essentially identical obituary on the web site of Antioch College as that which was published in the Buffalo News.
