From homeroom , to lunchroom, to after school basketball with the Story brothers, Rein was one great guy to hang with. I'll never forget at lunch once, he was edged on to blow a straw full of his chocolate milk at me and did it . I am so sad to here he is no longer with us.
I have many fond memories of Rein from Kenmore West and at UB where we were fraternity brothers. Rein passed away in March of 2000 after a long fight with prostate cancer. He is very much missed by my wife and I. Early on we were in each other's weddings but we lost contact his last few years except for Christmas cards. We still get together with his wife when we are in NYC. She is still grieving the lost of this great guy and my fraternity brother.
