Ray was killed in a car a accident somewhere around 1980 on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst. Coincidentally I was working for the Amherst Police at the time and was at the accident scene. It was during the night shift and was very sad to witness.
Ray and Jim Bagley, were/are both related to me. My husband and I were very close to him. When he passed we were devastated. I grew up with the boys on Kenview. We went to Phillip Sheridan together up to 6th grade, then my parents and I moved to California. When we moved back in 66, I asked the boys if they would take me to school on the first day. They did, but I had to hold on to the backseat of the car all the way to school. What a ride!!!!
When I think of Ray I think of his infectious smile and big laugh!!! He loved to joke around, He made us all laugh! We all miss him dearly. <3
