I remember Billie from Hoover Elementary school and Kenmore West although we were never friends. In fact, I don't even think we ever spoke.Later when we were both in the field of education, I passed her in the hall in a Kenmore elementary school, but we were both occupied with students. Isn't that how life passes? Kids are familiar with so many faces, but often do not speak or attempt to connect with one another. We move through the years with a close little group of friends and are content.
