George Pribyl Jr

George F. Pribyl, Jr., 40, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with Leukemia, at his residence on Thursday, April 14, 2011, with his wife and brother at his side.

Born on April 10, 1971, in Kenosha, he was the son of George F. and Barbara (Brown) Pribyl, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools.

On July 19, 1996, he married Tami Landree in Kenosha.

He worked for Sodexho Food Service at Carthage College, retiring due to ill health.

George was a member of Kenosha Family Church and was a big time Wrestling Fan.

Surviving is his wife, Tami; his parents, George and Barbara Pribyl, Sr. of Tyler, TX; a brother, Gary (Melissa) Pribyl of Kenosha; three sisters, Kim (Daniel) David of Brookfield, Wis., Marie Pribyl of Tyler, TX, and Crystal Pribyl of Bourbonnais, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, "Pongo".

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. James Santarelli, Stacey and his staff; Dr. Malik Bandealy, Michelle and the staff of Hospice Alliance; and nurse Angela for all the care given George during his illness.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, at Proko Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

TO THE PRIBYL FAMILY, I AM VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF GEORGE. HE WAS A GOOD GUY, NEVER HAD A BAD THING TO SAY ABOUT ANYBODY. GEORGE WOULD ALWAYS HELP OUT EVERY WRESTLE SEASON AT BULLEN AND BRADFORD. MY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE GEORGE.
