Wow I can't believe it's been almost 10 years since graduating! It's great to see profiles for so many people...I'm amazed at how many people have kids already. I thought it was something to have one coming (it's a boy by the way!), but to see that some have 2-3 already makes me realize I still have some work remaining!
I went off to UW-Madison right after high school, had the time of my life, and graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering. I did an internship at Kimberly Clark during my junior year in Neenah, WI. The boring part was that I worked on toilet paper (hey it was better than tampons), but the best part was meeting my wife Widalys, who is from Puerto Rico. So yes, I finally got to bust out all that Spanish I had learned in high school and college.
Anyways, we started dating, then she went back to PR and we did the long distance thing for a while, until she graduated with her BS and came to UW-Madison to get her MS in Mechanical Engineering. So we had 1 solid year together in Madison, where I introduced her to cold weather, skiing, and Capital Brewery beer. We got married in San Juan, PR in Aug 2004.
Cincinnati was about the only city where we could both find a job (P&G), and where the people have teeth, so we packed up and moved here. I spent the first 3.5 years working in Pampers baby wipes and I recently moved to Process Engineering role for Swiffer Dusters. We're very happy here, but I'd still move back to Kenosha in a heart beat if the job was there.
