I earned bachelor's in European studies & French and master's in library & information science from Dominican University.

I married my husband in 2002. He writes science fiction & fantasy novels under the name EE Knight. I am vice president of VampJac, his production company.

I have worked as a research librarian, business research analyst & background investigator. Since 2002 I have been a restructuring conflicts analyst at one of the largest law firms in the world.

I am also a professional Middle Eastern dancer.
