Left my hometown, family and state to move to Fresno, CA for college. I lived with my family in Fresno and attended Fresno Pacific University from '01-'05. The best highlight of college was studying for a semester in Lithuania and backpacking Europe thereafter. A double bachelors in English and InterCultural Studies left me wondering what to do.
I interned at Christian urban non-profit and found myself captivated in advocating for social justice. I coached tennis part-time at the University. I was offered a position at Fresno Institute for Urban Leadership. I spent 4 years living in inner-city Fresno teaching college students about Biblical responses and action on poverty, racism, systemic injustice, and community development.
