Aside from working Etc., I have traveled a LOT since graduation starting in 1971 with traveling to South America to visit & stay with the Families of some of our H.S. Foreign Exchange Students & some from Caledonia H.S. I was in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, & Peru. I have visited quite a few US Stares & intend to visit more, especially, Alaska! I have been to PEI & Nova Scotia. as a Co Ruder in the back of a GoldWing Trike, on a 13 day trip with 12 days of RAIN, from Michigan to PEI to Nova Scotia, around the whole Island & then we took the CAT back to the US/Maine to finish the ride back to home! It was absolutely, FUN!!!!! I have been to Mexico (Cancun), England, several times, Ireland (x3), Scotland with the main place of visit, on The Isle of Skye (x3), Netherlands (x2), & a stop over in Germany (x2) & plan to visit Iceland & a few more Countries in Europe & Scandinavia.
I got married to my AWESOME husband, Richard J. VanderWerff in April of 1977. We were married just shy of 27 years and we had 4 AWESOME children: 2 Daughters & 2 Sons! Rick, SADLY passed away, unexpectedly in March 2004, just shy of our 27 year Anniversary! I/We currently (Fingers crosses for 1 or 2 more😊) have 10 AMAZING Grandchildren: 5 LOVELY Granddaughters and 5 HANDSOME Grandsons and all 10 of them are the LIGHT of my life & EACH day is a BLESSING when I get to see & spend time with them!
In August of 2016, I married David J. Boneham; we met on a Dating Site & after 2 years of going back ‘n forth to each other’s Country to be together, we met up in Saint John’s NL, Canada to get married!
I live a bit out in the country in a home that Rick & I bought 9 months before he passed away. I have a “Hobby” farm & because of my love for Horses, I have 5 Horses which includes 1 that Rick bought me. I also have 1 Mini Donkey, a Goat, some Geese & Ducks.....SOLD the Chickens a year ago. I have 4 indoor Dogs & a Cat and a 🎶“Partridge in a Pear Tree” 🎵.
Hobbies are: Spending time with Family & Friends (I LOVE it), Church (When it starts allowing us to Worship, WITHIN the Church), Helping others, Travel, Listening to a variety of music, Dancing, Cooking, Reading Autobiographies, NonFiction, & Books with Humor, Wood crafts & repurposing various Antique finds/objects etc. that David & I plan to sell (a RETIRED thing, lol!) at Craft shows etc. I LOVE the outdoors & enjoy gardening at home, swimming, fishing, & boating at our Cottage, Hiking, & I INTEND to get back with riding my Horses (after they’re broke to ride) & doing some Team Sorting/Penning! My “Heart” place is Grand Haven; it’s where I spent MANY Summers as a kid to current, walking the Shoreline, Pier, & around the Town & eating at a few of the Local Restaurants! I also spent the majority of my Summer at our Family Cottage on Big Crooked Lake where a multitude of Family memories were made!
Things I LIVE by & BELIEVE: Live YOUR life as FULLY as you can, DANCE & SING like no one is watching or listening & IF they are, HAVE AT IT, laugh, OFTEN, & LOVE life, because LIFE, can be CUT short in a BLINK of an Eye & BELIEVE in the POWER of Prayer; it WORKS❣️ PEACE and GOD BLESS!

Hello Candice????.
Dear Jim,
You were a wonderful, kind and TRUE, guy Friend all through H.S. I don't EVER remember your being unkind to ANYONE! You were on my list of people to contact, for getting together a Class reunion and well, I'm SO thankful for that, because, we had a LONG, interesting and fun conversation, reconnecting and catching up on the years gone by, after graduation! My ONLY regret is that we didn't stay in touch more, after H.S., but with many of us, that SADLY, happened a lot!
Until we meet again,
God Bless and R.I.P. ??
