John was a good friend and joined our football team at East during the summer before school began. John had our back as we did for him. Rest old friend, and know you were an Eagle and great person and player to have on our defense.

Good guy to have on our defense, always there when you needed him. Fearless in any situation and always could be counted on to do his job. Rest in peace Ben, you were appreciated. Always an Eagle, who could hold his head high !!! Kind thoughts and prayers for your family.

I have known Sam since early childhood. Our grandparents were siblings, thus Sam and I were 2nd cousins. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death, and he will be missed by many classmates "class of 70' and many of his cousins. Was a great teammate, friend to all, and all around good guy to all his customers at Ingrams Funrniture in Kernersville. Hope for the best for his family during this time of sadness, and our extended East Forsyth family will keeep Sam's family in their prayers.
