Annabelle Grace McKinney, born 9/20/16 - granddaughter of Delores Phillips Vogt

 

Annabelle Grace McKinney, was born 9/20/16 to proud parents, Mike & Charity McKinney.  Annabelle is the 3rd grandchild of Delores Phillips and her husband.

Sweet baby Annabelle  was diagnosed in Oct. 2016 with a rare metabolic disorder called Propionic acidemia. (PA)  PA is a rare, genetic, metabolic disorder in which her body cannot breakdown protein properly causing numerous complications and frequent hospitalizations. To reduce the complications of her disorder, Annabelle has been listed for liver transplant at The Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The family is projecting the transplant will happen this summer or fall, and they will have to live in Pittsburgh for 3 – 6 months. Funds are being raised for COTA in honor of Annabelle to assist with transplant-related expenses.

Because of the lengthy hospitalizations Annabelle's parents, Mike and Charity will have insurmountable hospital bills from Brenner's Hospital and especially Duke Hospital. If you would like to help them with these expenses, please check out this website.
