I got married in Aug of 1966, I went to work in a mill and spent a lot of time wishing I had not done that. We had three children. My wife died from complications after surgery in 1976. I managed a Gant service station until the gas shortage.? I answered an ad that promised a "company Car". It turned out to be Orkin pest control. I worked for them a few years and decided I wanted my own business. I was under a non compete contract so I sold insurance for the two years my contract called for me not to compete with Orkin. I was able to take and pass all the tests needed to aquire my Pest Control License. I have been in the Pest Control business 40 years now.
