FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How many events are planned for our reunion weekend?

Answer: Currently there are only TWO events on the calendar. The events are listed on the "10 Year Reunion"  page (see Menu bar on left of screen). We may plan an additional event if enough interest is generated, but that event will require less planning.  It is not necessary to make those arrangements and reservations as far in advance, so they will be made ONLY if the demand is there.

2. Can I bring my Family to the Reunion?

Answer:  We encourage you to bring as many family members as you wish to the EFHS Football Game on Friday, August 17th; however on Saturday, August 18th our Banquet event is RESTRICTED to a Class Member and Guest  and is an Adult Only Event.  The Banquet is not designed to entertain children,  it is being put together to entertain Adult members of the Class of 2002 and your guest (if you choose to bring a guest).

3. Why are we only selling 150 tickets for the Reunion Banquet?

Answer:  The Paul Ciener Botanical Garden can seat 150 people for a sit-down banquet in the ballroom of the event center.

4. What if more than 150 people want to buy tickets for the Reunion?

Answer:  Don't wait to buy your ticket!  If demand is extremely HIGH for our Reunion Banquet prior to June 30th we can make changes to allow for more people to attend the Banquet.  If you have ever worked in a restaurant or event center you understand that to allow for more people to occupy a venue a certain number of tables must be removed from the indoor dining area.  Decreasing the number of tables would also result in the need for a menu change... a dinner menu would still be served, but it would not be the same food as would be served at a sit-down dinner.

5. Why can't I buy a Ticket for the Reunion Banquet at the door?

Answer:  There are fire code restrictions for capacity at the Banquet venue, so we must know how many people will be attending to ensure we meet code. Also, a catered Banquet requires additional planning.  Caterers must have an idea of how much food and alcohol to order from wholesale vendors in advance of the banquet, and we must sell all tickets prior to the actual event to pay for catering services.
