Sorry Pat and children for the loss of your husband and father.  Fred was,  as I remember, always very brave and fearless in class and sports.  He will surely be missed and my prayers are with you and his memory will never fade.       Take care, Thomas Hansen......

Dear Pat and Family.  I was so sorry to hear of Fred's passing.  Bob and I always enjoyed seeing both of you at our class reunions.  It seemed that Bob and Fred could relate to each other because of their military backgrounds.  You and your family will be in our prayers.  Please keep us posted on when the memorial service will be held.  We would love to be a part of celebrating Fred's life.  Fondly, Carolyn and Bob

Pat and family, You have my deepest sympathy and prayers.  Fred was a kind and genuine person respectful of everything and everyone.  I'll always remember when you and Fred took me to Curly's for dinner and wonderful conversation.  The world has lost a great person.  God Bless?  Betty

Fred White was a class act.  I played baseball with him at Northeast park and he spiked my foot, but I forgave him.  He was one of the really special people in our class.  He was a terrific athlete but a fairly humble guy who never showed the fact that his family was well to do.  Fred married well (Pat W) and served in Vietnam.  That was the kind of guy that he was.  Most importantly to me, he crossed socioeconomic lines and hung out with the dirtpoor at times...me.  A class act.

Pat & Family, I am so sorry to hear that you have lost Fred. I remember him as a kind and gentle guy. I never dreamed that so many of us would be widows or widowers at this age. May God bless you and your family as you grieve. With deepest sympathy, Mary Grier Eldridge

I am deeply sorry to hear about Fred 's passing. He was a great athlete. My memory is a little hazy, but I think Fred and I played basketball together. He might have plad quarterback on our football team. As others have stated, Fred was a genually nice person.God bless his family at this time of grief.

I'm saddened to learn of Fred's passing and want to send to you, Pat my sincere condolences.  Like so many others,  I have many warm memories of Fred.  One of the few individuals that stands out from all the rest ( and not just because he was a Packers fan... although that didn't hurt) but because of the strength of his character.  Modest to a fault, Fred will live on in my memory.

Pat and your daughters:  Needless to say, I am saddened to hear of Fred's passing.  I have nothing but fond memories of Fred, and not just from his love of, and skills in, sports.  He was always the quiet captain of every team I was on with him, all the way from Little League baseball at Windmont Park, then on to Babe Ruth league at Northeast, and , of course, high school, where he starred in basketball, football and baseball.  He never bragged about anything and was just "one of the guys" when it came to being a true friend.  I was fortunate enough to talk by phone and email to Fred during the past couple of years and will miss him and his kind and soft spoken manner.  He's probably got a tee time in heaven already.

Really enjoyed talking to the both of you at the 50th reunion and was wondering how you were doing. Take care of yourself aand be with your family and friends. I know how hard it is when you have been together for so long. I'm sure the whole class sends their love and prayers.
