As you can see, I didn't go far from home. I started working and that was pretty much it. I just celebrated (if you can actually call it celebrating) my 29th year at the "Base". I never thought that I would stay here that long.
Gerry and I have been married for 21 years. Both of our families are right here in the county. So there's been lots of family around. That's one of the things that I liked most about growing up here. I'm glad that Scott will have lots of memories of big family gatherings.
Scott just turned 17 & is a junior at KGHS. He's really enjoyed the rural life. Just like every other good ole country boy, he likes hunting, fishing and riding his 4 wheeler.
