To: The Class of 1980

In memory of our brother, classmate and dear friend Lynn Thompson, I send condolences and prayers for the family. We have great memories of him and others Avery Smith, Jeff Guyton. We were able to be a part of their lives as they also touched ours. Even as their flame in this life is extinguished here as time moves forward they all will never be extinguished from the hearts of this Class of 1980! We have made great contributions to the legacy of this class and those memories will live on forever in this prayer:

Father we thank you for those that dared to achieve in this Kings Mountain High School Class of 1980. We saw many names of our fellow classmates fall victim to the span of time but through all of our hardships and struggles we remain strong. We pass the morals and values of this class to our families so through them those classmates are not forgotten but live on in the academics, sports and fellowship of Kings Mountain High School. May God allow his face to shine on this endeavers of this class and always lead us in pathes of righteousness that we may always up hold the strongs legacy of our Class of 1980.
