School Story:
Who can forget the Dean of discipline - Mr. Dowdy (boy everybaddy di fraid a him....) and I remember the stern Sister Sharon Fong Kong, and Sis B of course.
I remember the Monkey Tamarind Tree and countless swimming lessons with "Lipiticus" whose class I refused to continue with after a deep end incident -he gave me the pole only after I hollered out his name while making my third descent under the water. I was livid!! I took up tennis after that (didn't learn much though...)
I have fond memories of Food and Nutrition classes and especially Mrs. Bramwell whose husband brought their gas cylinder from home on the morning of our CXC exams because the school ran out of gas. I'll never forget what she did for us.
There were so many dedicated teachers who helped to shape us in one way or another. There was history teacher Mr. Mitchell and the Singhs were the masters of accounts....
Hmmmm.....there are so many memories!!
