Greg Short

Got married in 1992 while finishing my engineering degree.

I graduated in the fall of 1992 from K-State with a BS in Mechanical Engineering

I have been in EPC Power Plant Engineering/Construction business since graduation.

I have been on the move quite a bit since getting out of college. I have spent time in Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, Kansas (2nd time), Missouri (2nd time), Texas, Minnesota, Texas (2nd time), and finally Missouri (3rd time).

I am currently a project manager for an engineering firm that designs gas fired power plants.

Pretty much life is about work, kids and church right now. Not much time for anything else.

Lots of stories. Some I am not that proud of an won't bring up. They are all pretty funny though. Seems like I was always the point of some joke or bad situation. A couple that come to mind:

Being Greg the Grape Nut and breaking the table at class night

Falling off the back of the bleachers in Band

Missing the punt at a JV football game and pulling a Charlie Brown all at the same time.

Same game as above seperating Ketty's shoulder (can't remember his first name) when running a fake punt because there was no way Mr. Stuart or Mr. Smith were going to let me punt again. He gave me a deep thigh bruise that took a couple weeks to get over.
