Since graduating from khs, i rec'd my bachelor degree in nursing from carlow college in pittsburgh. my husband and i lived out of state for two years in virginia. since re-locating back to pittsburgh, we have lived in different parts of the city and have been in the north hills since our daughter was born. I currently work in the surgical intensive unit at upmc shadyside hospital. My job entails many responsibilities. I sit on two committees and am the representative for my staff on one of them. As a senior nurse on the unit, I am in charge a lot. Which means I am responsible for staffing, assignments, assisting with procedures at the bedside. Working with the AOD, especially during the night shift. I am also on the code team. Oh, and any family issues that may occur when I am in charge! My husband is an asstistant principal, actively finishing the program to get his principal papers. Our kids are great! They attend the north hills school district, which is AAAA....compared to KHS! !
