What a great online meeting space for one of Taylor High's greatest classes, Joe! I'm enjoying the chance to catch up with you and everyone else who I had a chance to get to know during the years that I held court in Room 158 [next door to Cathy Steiner]. Blessings to you and the rest of the class as you find your way back to Kokomo for your upcoming reunion. Alas, my wife and I will be in Louisville, KY visiting our son when you meet for your upcoming class reunion.
I retired this past January as provost of the other "Taylor" [Taylor University] that I called home after leaving THS but am returning to teach in the History, Global & Political Studies Department for the upcoming academic year. Much of the success I have enjoyed as a university professor and administrator, I owe to the Class of '84 and other students who helped shape the kind of teacher I became. Thanks to you, Joe, and the illustrious class of 1984.
