I have lived in AZ, MO, VA and now Indiana. Employment took us on this journey, plant closings or reduction in the work force. We have two grandchildren ages 7 and 9 who we visit at least once a year in Corona CA. I have loved each position that I held. I worked in an industry that required Clean water (18 Meghom) and Clean rooms that were Class 10 ( 10 particles in a cubic foot of air) This made my job very much in demand. I graduated with a degree in Environmental Engineering. I was an engineer/manager at most sites since there was only myself in the position. Companies I worked at were Beckman Instruments, Microchip tech., Integrated Device Technologies DataTape, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, and Lilly and Company. Maintaining high purity water systems, clean rooms (class 10) and the physical plant utilities.
School Story:

I pursed a Mechanical Degree with the emphasis on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. From Cypress College and then Cal Poly Pomona. High School I did not know where I was heading and started at PCC as a Auto mechanic with my long time friend Bob Vennard.
I arrived in La Canada in 1962 living on Viro Road close to the High School that was being built back then.

Well after La Canada I moved around the country. I am now in Indianapolis IN and have one more move in us. I have been married for 38 years, we have two wonderful Grandchildren living in Corona CA. I stayed in touch with Bob Vennard. I retired for Eli Lilly and company after being on disability for the last four years. I am now getting back on my feet and traveling when I am able. I plan on attending the next Class reunion if my health permits.

Hey old friend it is time for you to reach the ripe age of 65 on the 10th. I am wishing you a happy wonderful birthday. I wish we could be there to celebrate with you. Next year we are planning on being there in June to celebrates Seth Graduation from High School. Try and keep so time open during the month so we can get together.

Kathie, I do plan on attending the 50 year reunion if all goes well this year has been busy for me with surgery. I am getting better now and hope to get to California next year for my Grandsons Graduation for High School and maybe check out the old stomping grounds again. I will be seeing Bob Vennard and his new Grand baby.

Arden, I am glad to hear that you stayed at the Lab all these years. My father passed away two years ago and his friend Robert Hall retired. I still remember all those days we spent at high school and those parties we attended.

Ray it is a long time since we spoke to each other. I am planning on going to our 50 year reunion if all goes well. I am still in touch with Bob Vennard all these years. We should be out to California in June 2017 to see our Grandson graduate from High School maybe we could have lunch or dinner. Take care
