Frank and I were married for 25 years, together for 29. We lived in Ventura, CA. When I met Frank he had a 5 month old son, Elio, who I fell madly in love with. For 10 years we owned Watersports, a retail store and manufacturing company for Sailboarding, Catamarans, and other water related sports. I taught windsurfing for 9 years. During that time, and for 25 years, I was also a Conference and Trade Show Coordinator in the Imaging Industry and a Freelance Graphic Designer. Because of the conferences and trade shows we were able to travel all over Europe and to Australia. With Frank's grandparents being from Italy, we spent many vacations visiting his family in Imola, near Bologna. What an incredible experience. We closed Watersports in the mid 90s.
In November of 2005, Frank and I decided to move to Hood River, Oregon to be near Elio who had moved here in 1996 because of the windsurfing industry. I lost Frank 5 months later to a heart attach. I have chosen to stay in this incredible place, close to Elio and not far from my sister, Donna, who lives in Washington. I resigned my partnership in the Meeting Planning business and am continuing to do Freelance Graphic Design.
