Went to school at the U of M on a full-ride softball scholarship. Enjoyed those days! Got married in 1989. Have been enjoying these days. I've learned life is up to you. I make sure mine is filled with fun. Kids are a lot of work and well worth it. I have much respect for my mother and the job she did raising my 11 siblings and I without a husband. (My dad died of a heart-attack at 47.) I have a great job. First grade students like to come to school and love you. I coach the varsity softball team. We are good this year and are hoping to go to state. My husband Shane is one of my softball assistants. He and I have played softball together since we started dating. (and that was 27 years ago) He's a great guy and knows how to have a good time. We like to get away in these cold Minnesota winters. We've been to Key West and some other warm places....when we were there he said...."We should have come here 20 years ago and we're coming back again without the kids." We have and I'd highly recommend it. There are 244 bars on an island 4 miles by 2 miles wide!

My favorite h.s. memories are centered around sports and parties. Who can forget the south ridge cory? Thank god I had some great teachers that tried to keep me in line!! I try my best to remember those teachers that really helped all kids, not just teaching what they were paid to teach, but teaching us about life and becoming good people. I had a few that I appreciate.
