After graduation, I attended UW-La Crosse and graduated in 1993 with a degree in Secondary Education, majoring in History. I had attempted to become a social studies teacher, but experienced difficulties in classroom management during my student and substitute teaching roles. So, after several years of unsuccessfully landing a fulltime teaching position, I gave up on that career and fortunately, had my father's company to "fall back on". Thereafter, I went to work for my dad's electrical company (Crescent Electric)and went into the electrical apprenticeship program, which I completed in 2002.
Life changed very quickly for me a little over 5 years ago, when I met my future wife, Lynne, and her two girls (Molly and Hannah). One year later, I was married, became a step-dad, and moved to Belleville, Illinois (near St. Louis).
Lynne is an English composition professor for a community college here in Belleville. Currently, I am employed by an electrical company through the local union, mostly wiring newly-constructed homes. I am very blessed and happy with my life, though I do greatly miss my family and friends in La Crescent. So, I'd always welcome an email or call anytime! Due to a family reunion on Lynne's side of the family here in Illinois, I will be unable to attend the reunion.
Best regards to all!
