After being on the 10 yr plan for college....as my dad puts it... I have been working here at Gundersen Lutheran in the O.R for 15 years. I get to be in the middle of the big open heart cases and trauma cases- I love it!! In my free time I have spent 8 yrs on the Applefest Board, 3 yrs. on the La Crescent Baseball and Softball Board, coached softball for 7 years for Alissa's team, while trying to attend all of Nates soccer and baseball games. Next challenge is to coach Abby's softball team!?!?
November 13th, Chris and I will be married for 17 years. We are breaking ground soon and building a house on the hill...OUT OF THE FLOOD PLAINS!! We own and operate all of his family farms now. In 2008, during a flood, Chris decided to quit milking cows. He is currently calling himself retired as he hunts, fishes, hangs out at the boat house, and watches his crops grow. Must be nice.
In June, Nate graduated from La Crescent. Yeah!
